Warranty procedure

Dell warranty handling begins with product inspection:

Here you choose your model. The product check can automatically identify your device if it is used for the check. If not, enter the model and serial number.

Serial number starts with ST or S/N and can be found on the product's service tag.
It contains the following information:

Service Tag (ST or S/N): ABCD123
Express Service Code (EX): 224537145587
Production date: xxxx xx xx

The information on the product appears, along with available warranty and contact information. the standard service phone number is 0800 230 0003 (Free).

For the warranty you need the following information:

  • Proof of purchase stating the product
  • The serial number printed on the label
  • A description of the problem
  • A photo of any damage to the product

Once the product is determined to be defective by the service representative, an RMA number will be issued for your product. The handling depends on the case, and can mean returning the entire product or a part.
