Telephone support for products within warranty is free. Telephone support for out-of-warranty products may incur additional charges.

 

Warranty procedure

An HP account is required for warranty processing at HP.
This can be created here: https://login3.id.hp.com/login3/sign-up 

The HP account allows you to register products. Please have serial number and proof of purchase to hand.

Warranty status can be checked with the HP warranty check:
https://support.hp.com/my-en/check-warranty  

Enter the country of purchase and serial number here.
The serial number is listed as Serial NO, S/N, or SN on product labels.

For a guarantee on registered products, you can call the helpdesk or use the chat function (with an employee, not a bot).

Both features can be found by selecting your product on the HP account dashboard. The product information in the product options on the dashboard also keeps track of the warranty status.

The helpdesk indicates the course of events for your warranty settlement.
this may be a return (RMA) of the product or part for repair or replacement.

Active cases can be followed with the product itself. Updates are announced on the dashboard page, in the case column.
